"El Puente del Avestruz" brings together a group of works with which Mayesa Mira highlights her 40-year career as an artist, her remarkable career in the art world, so that we can celebrate with her the journey of her life, discovering the secrets of her creativity and the force that has driven her during all these years.
This exhibition is a tribute to the artist's career, but it is also much more than that. It is a reflection of her transit through different places, experiences and emotions that have shaped her artistic identity. One of those places is the majestic Sierra de Guadarrama, where she has found inspiration and has left her mark in the form of abstract brushstrokes full of life.
