"Invisible Ties - Menchu Uroz
The works I present in the group exhibition "The Red Thread" are inspired by the meaning of this oriental legend in which people destined to meet each other are connected by an invisible red thread that never disappears and remains tied to their fingers
constantly.
In my work this union between characters is usually present, although for this occasion I have shown it graphically.

Coincidentally, a few months ago I made some watercolors that spoke about this idea and that I had never exhibited, so when Sara Caso Art Gallery proposed me this participation I decided to exhibit them together with a piece on canvas belonging to my last series "Tempo".
In this work, the figures in movement are linked in an interior that in turn is connected to the exterior, intertwining the sinuosity of movement with geometric planes.
I usually use mixed techniques, combining oil, acrylic or watercolor with collage, inks and drawing, on supports such as canvas, wood or paper.
